Magic Monday Card two

This was a fun card to make. I used alot of stuff that has been sitting untouched in my stamp room for to long!
First I embossed the image from Layered Lables using Early Espresso embossing powder onto Shimmery White Cardstock.

Then I used my Aqua Painter and spread some So Saffron ink all over the Shimmery White
Then I filled up my Stampin' Spritzer with water and about 7 drops of Primrose Petals ink, and spritzed the card stock ( if you look on the left you will see where I had my finger... oops! I was so excited I fogot to put the card down before spritzing!)

I used the Aqua Painter to add some So Saffron ink to the Flower Trim ribbon. I just love that stuff!!
The I layered the Shimmery White cs onto Primrose Petals and then onto an Early Espresso card base.

Inside the card I embossed "thanks" in the Early Espresso embossing powder and again used the Aqua painter to add So Saffron ink.

Magic Monday Class

Okay so here it is Wednesday, and class is on Monday. I am trying to get better about posting samples for class in advance. Monday Magic is a new theme for me. I took a poll and decided that Funky Folds was out. Hope everyone likes the new theme!

This Magic Monday we will be embossing, and watercoloring.

Card one uses Apothecary Art and En Francais Stamp sets.

I used Pewter embossing powder on the main image. and colored with Cherry Cobler and Wild Wasabi ink using my blender pen.
En Francais was embossed on Night of Navy card stock using Clear embossing powder.
I used the Labels Collection Framelits to cut out the main image,  the Elegant Butterfly punch this is layerd onto a paper doilie, then the Night of Navy, White and a Navy Card base. I did place white card stock inside the card for writing.

Story Book Easter

I just love this stamp set. Story book #126737  has so much potential!
I stamped the bunny using Basic Gray and then colored it using my blender pen and Crumb Cake ink. I used my So Saffron, Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery Marker for the wand and ears
The image is layered onto Pretty in Pink and then onto a Whisper White Card Base.
You'll notice the sides of the card have embossing, I used the new Borders Scroring plate #126192 from the Spring Mini. Happy Easter (from Delightful Dozen #122652) was stamped also in Basic Gray onto Certainly Celery.

Feb Card Class

This is one of the 4 cards we will be making at Class this month.
My monthly card class is held on the 4th Tuesday of every month.
For info on how you can attend please contact me.

I love this card... everything used on it is from Stampin' Up!
I used Pretty in Pink classic ink on the Honeycomb embossing folder, and stamped the Bunny from " ears to you" one of the single stamps available now, using my Crumb Cake marker. All of this is on Very Vanilla cardstock. The Ribbon is Baja Breeze seam binding.
Inside I stamped "Easter Blessings" from the mini catalog in Baja Breeze.

I'm Back!!!

It has been a long year, I have had much going on at home, work and with my health, BUT I am back creating again. And am SOOO excited!
So a little about what has been happining...
a few years ago I gave up my craft space for the sanity of the house ( we had to seperate our two oldest teenage boys) It was very difficult for me to down size and only have 2 cupboards ( granted they each hold about 400 sq feet) but I did it.... sort of... I had to store stuff in the younger boys closet! Anyway my oldest Graduated High School and then decided to move out. While I was sad to see him go, that also ment I got my space back, and now I have a WALL and a DOOR!!!
as you can see I am still oragainzing the space...

And I will have to use it as an office too, but I DONT CARE!!

I have reduced my work outside the home hours to almost none, I just want to be home for the boys and be able to be creative again!
I have had a few health issues pop up, and I am sure I will share more about that with all of you at a later time, but for now I am able to create and I am feeling a bit better...

so stay tuned I will be soon posting Project Mondays again, and hope to start doing videos too! ( I am sure there is a good utube video showing how to make a utube video, right? )

until next time
