This Advent calendar is a case from one that was shared at the Portland Regional Seminar on Oct 23 2010.
Unfortunately I did not write down the presenter's name.
BUT I loved her project so much that I stopped on my way home to purchase all the supplies to recreate it!

So I am sure you want all the details.....

I started out with a frame purchased from
IKEA with an 11 x 15 inch opening. Metal flashing was cut by a friend. I purchased the Christmas Cheer Simply
Scrappin' Kit from
Stampin' Up! ( # 117401 $19.95) and I purchased the tins from
Oriental Trading company.
I used the Basic rhinestone Jewels from Stampin' Up! (# 119247 $4.95) and some 1/8 inch taffeta ribbon ( Early Espresso #119959) the Snowflake punch ( #119859 $16.95) and Snowflakes set 2 Sizzlets ( #113449 $19.95)

I really love how the Simply Scrappin kit is so easy to use. This project went together so fast!

I had some adhesive backed magnet sheets that I cut to fit on the back of the tins.

I attached each
embellishment to the the tins using Mini glue dots.

Tell me what you think, and if you know who shared this project in Portland please to tell me!!
Thanks for stopping by!
